LOOKING FOR KNITTERS
FOR A GOOD CAUSE

Hi everyone in Rutland and Stamford and Grantham branch,
I am forwarding an email from one of our Rutland and Stamford branches in an attempt to find knitters willing to knit for a worthy cause. i know many of you knit for the premature baby units and thought this might make an enjoyable change. If you do manage to do one or more then please bring to Kay at Rutland and Stamford meetings or let me have them to pass on.
I’m sure we can produce a few bosoms!
Best wishes
Vicki

FROM KAY

We really do need knitted breasts for our NCT breastfeeding Peer Support project in Leicester.  We are thinking we might need to do an appeal as none of our breastfeeding peer support volunteers are knitters.  If you or anyone you know would be able to knit an artificial breast for us we would be very grateful.  There is a knitting pattern below, any colour will do, in fact I saw a blue breast it was querky and helped with any embarrassment felt as it didn’t look too realistic.

There is an amended pattern by a pattern by Carolyn Westcott IBCLC)
